Mizuho Americas adds i-bankers to financial sponsors, consumer groups

Mizuho Americas has hired Jeffrey Tuckel, Robert Minikes, Joseph Flores and Stephen Robb for its U.S. corporate and investment banking unit.

Tuckel, Minikes and Flores joined Mizuho's financial sponsors group and will be based in Los Angeles.

Tuckel, a managing director, previously served in executive roles at Wells Fargo Securities LLC, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank Securities, and Price Waterhouse. Minikes, who joins as director, has previously worked with Wells Fargo Securities, Clark Retail Enterprises and PwC. Flores, vice president, most recently worked at Wells Fargo Securities.

Robb will join Mizuho's consumer and retail group as managing director and will be based in New York. He is the founder of Leap Advisors, and has previously held management positions at Citizens Financial Group Inc., Cantor Fitzgerald, Morgan Joseph Triartisan, Sonenshine Partners LLC and Credit Suisse.

Mizuho Americas is a part of Japan-based Mizuho Financial Group Inc.
