OrotonGroup Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Jan. 24 came to 6 Australian cents per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of 10 cents per share.
EPS fell 48.6% year over year from 12 cents.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was A$2.6 million, a decline of 48.0% from A$5.0 million in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue rose 6.3% year over year to A$66.9 million from A$62.9 million, and total operating expenses climbed 12.4% from the prior-year period to A$61.4 million from A$54.6 million.
Reported net income declined 56.9% on an annual basis to A$2.2 million, or 5 cents per share, from A$5.1 million, or 12 cents per share.
