AB InBev unveils new parental leave policy

Belgium-based brewing company Anheuser-Busch Inbev SA/NV in a May 23 release announced its new global parental leave policy that will be applicable to all parents including same sex and domestic partners.

All primary caregivers are allowed a minimum of 16 weeks and secondary caregivers a minimum of two weeks of fully paid leave.

The policy for caregivers, which is inclusive of surrogacy, adoption and natural births, applies equally to both males and the females, the company said.

The brewing company is also launching a leave program to facilitate employees who opt for fertility treatments.
