Re/insurance startup Convex appointed Paul Cooper, Rebecca Derzypilskyj and Paul Maguire senior insurance specialists, The Insurance Insider reported.

Cooper, Derzypilskyj and Maguire will be joining the company's aviation team, according to the report, citing sources. Cooper previously worked as a senior underwriter, while Derzypilskyj worked as head of space in London at Axa Xl. Maguire previously led aviation insurance at Faraday Underwriting Ltd.


Maine Employers' Mutual Insurance Co. named Kathleen Kerr director of organizational development and training.

In the newly created role, Kerr will be responsible for enterprise-wide organizational development solutions for talent management, performance development, diversity and inclusion, change management, career development, production efficiencies and leadership effectiveness.
