Fontavis, OX2 begin operations at 21.6-MW wind farm in Sweden

Fontavis AG and Nordic wind developer OX2 Group AB have brought online the 21.6-MW Stigshöjden wind farm in Sweden.

The onshore wind project was completed on schedule and houses six Vestas Wind Systems A/S turbines, according to a Sept. 5 release.

Swiss asset manager Fontavis acquired the facility pre-construction in 2017 and completed it in association with OX2.

"The commissioning of the wind farm contributes directly towards achieving long-term renewable energy generation targets in Sweden," Fontavis Director Thomas Vogt said.
