Tokyo Dome fiscal Q3 profit falls YOY

Tokyo Dome Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Oct. 31 amounted to ¥22.39 per share, a decline of 5.7% from ¥23.74 per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥2.13 billion, a decline of 5.7% from ¥2.26 billion in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin dropped to 9.6% from 10.6% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue climbed on an annual basis to ¥22.17 billion from ¥21.36 billion, and total operating expenses climbed from the prior-year period to ¥18.12 billion from ¥17.30 billion.

Reported net income grew 8.5% year over year to ¥3.14 billion, or ¥32.98 per share, from ¥2.90 billion, or ¥30.38 per share.
