Wednesday Express: After Wells, OCC uncovers sales misconduct at other banks

* The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency examined more than 40 banks following Wells Fargo's unauthorized accounts scandal, American Banker reports. The review ended in December 2017 and spurred the regulator to issue 252 matters requiring attention, or MRAs, to banks and five industrywide MRAs.

* Investment manager Invesco has acquired IntelliFlo, a U.K.-based provider of adviser-focused digital solutions.

* A subsidiary of Canadian asset management firm Olympia Financial Group is selling its ATM business to Tarman, a corporation owned and controlled by Olympia Financial Chairman and CEO Rick Skauge, at an estimated price of C$1.4 million.

* Asset manager OppenheimerFunds and private equity firm Carlyle Group launched an interval fund called OFI Carlyle Private Credit Fund, Reuters reports.

* The Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit Subcommittee will hold a hearing today titled "Improving Transparency and Accountability at the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection."

* Some managed care insurers in New York and Washington asked regulators to approve double-digit rate increases for 2019 Affordable Care Act individual plans.

* Laura Robison will begin working as chief actuarial officer of insurance firm SAIF in September, the Insurance Journal reports.

* Nautilus Insurance Group named Allison Kenworthy senior vice president and CFO.
