Tyson Foods makes executive changes

Tyson Foods Inc. on Jan. 14 disclosed a number of changes to its leadership structure, effective Jan. 28.

The changes follow Tyson's acquisition of Keystone Foods LLC from Brazil's Marfrig Global Foods SA for $2.16 billion, a deal that was announced in August 2018.

The Springdale, Ark.-based food business appointed Chad Martin as group president for poultry. Martin was previously senior vice president and general manager for beef enterprise for Tyson Fresh Meats.

Donnie King, who left Tyson Foods in 2017, will return as group president for international. King will be responsible for the company's overall international growth strategy, global business models and overseas operations.

Doug Ramsey will take the newly created position of president for global McDonald's business. Ramsey will be in charge of leading the relationship with McDonald's Corp., a key Tyson Foods customer.

All three will report directly to President and CEO Noel White.

In addition, Tyson announced the resignation of former Keystone Foods President and CEO Frank Ravndal, effective March.
