Noble Environmental Power, Bankers Commercial approved to sell Texas wind farm

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission approved an application by Noble Environmental Power LLC and Bankers Commercial Corp. to sell their membership interests in a Texas wind farm to a subsidiary of Geronimo Renewable Infrastructure Partners LP.

Noble Great Plains Windpark LLC owns and operates the 114-MW Great Plains I wind facility in Hansford County, Texas. Noble Environmental Power owns all the class B voting rights in Noble Great Plains, while all of the class A, passive tax-equity interests are owned by Bankers Commercial, according to a Sept. 6 FERC filing.

The buyer, Great Plains Wind Park Member LLC, is a subsidiary of Geronimo Renewable Infrastructure Partners LP. Geronimo Renewable Infrastructure Partners GP LLC has a 1% controlling general partnership interest, and 99% of Geronimo Renewable Infrastructure is indirectly held by passive limited partners.
