Australia-headquartered Macquarie Group Ltd. acquired data center operator Netrality Properties LP from funds managed by Abrams Capital Management LP.
The acquisition was made in partnership with Netrality's management team through the Macquarie Infrastructure Partners IV LP, which is managed by Macquarie Infrastructure & Real Assets Inc.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Netrality owns and operates data connectivity hubs for clients who need direct connections across multiple networks, clouds and other service providers.
Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC was the financial adviser to the Macquarie fund and Netrality management team partnership. White & Case LLP was legal counsel to the fund, while Fried Frank Harris Shriver & Jacobson LLP and Kurtz & Revness PC was legal counsel to management.
Sullivan & Cromwell LLP was legal counsel to the seller.
