Komputronik fiscal Q4 profit falls YOY

Komputronik SA said its normalized net income for the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31 came to 43 groszy per share, a decrease of 7.0% from 47 groszy per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 4.2 million zlotys, a decrease of 9.4% from 4.7 million zlotys in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin dropped to 0.7% from 1.0% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue grew 22.6% on an annual basis to 572.5 million zlotys from 466.9 million zlotys, and total operating expenses grew 23.5% from the prior-year period to 570.0 million zlotys from 461.5 million zlotys.

Reported net income fell 15.2% from the prior-year period to 2.8 million zlotys, or 28 groszy per share, from 3.3 million zlotys, or 33 groszy per share.

For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled 1.80 zlotys per share, an increase of 70.2% from 1.06 zlotys per share in the prior year.

Normalized net income was 17.4 million zlotys, a gain of 70.5% from 10.2 million zlotys in the prior year.

Full-year total revenue increased 30.9% year over year to 2.25 billion zlotys from 1.72 billion zlotys, and total operating expenses rose 30.7% on an annual basis to 2.21 billion zlotys from 1.69 billion zlotys.

The company said reported net income decreased 13.1% on an annual basis to 20.8 million zlotys, or 2.15 zlotys per share, in the full year, from 23.9 million zlotys, or 2.48 zlotys per share.

As of June 19, US$1 was equivalent to 3.69 zlotys.
