Emblem board chair, director step down; replacements named

Emblem Corp. said its chair, Harvey Shapiro, and Director Maxim Zavet stepped down from the Toronto-based company's board.

Connie Stefankiewicz and Loreto Grimaldi were appointed to fill the vacated board seats. Stefankiewicz was most recently chief marketing officer for a Canadian financial institution, while Grimaldi has experience as an advisor to C-suite leaders and boards of directors, Emblem said in a news release.

Board member Daniel Milliard will replace Shapiro as chair of the company's board.

Emblem produces, distributes and sells medical cannabis and cannabis derivatives in Canada.
