Certain wholly owned subsidiaries of Navigators Group Inc. agreed to sell the renewal rights to the company's fixed-premium protection and indemnity business to Thomas Miller Specialty Underwriting Agency Ltd. and Thomas Miller & Co. Ltd.

Navigators will underwrite such business from Feb. 8 to June 30, after which Thomas Miller will take 100% control of such business. Navigators will remain responsible for losses sustained before Feb. 8.

The company will remain in the fixed-premium protection and indemnity market, primarily by reinsuring mutual clubs through Syndicate 1221, its Lloyd's of London syndicate.
