Boston-based Berkshire Bank retains 2 execs of acquired bank

Berkshire Bank retained two members of Savings Institute Bank & Trust's senior leadership team after acquiring the Willimantic, Conn.-based bank in May.

Gene Deary accepted the position of senior vice president of home lending and mortgage loan operations under the Berkshire Bank name, while Jason White accepted the role of senior vice president and chief technology officer.

Deary was senior vice president and director of retail lending, and White was vice president and chief information officer at Savings Institute.

Boston-based Berkshire Bank is a unit of Berkshire Hills Bancorp Inc.
