Nihon Eslead Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, amounted to ¥19.77 per share, a gain from ¥19.12 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥305.0 million, an increase from ¥295.0 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin fell to 5.3% from 5.7% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue rose 10.6% on an annual basis to ¥5.73 billion from ¥5.18 billion, and total operating expenses climbed 11.9% on an annual basis to ¥5.21 billion from ¥4.66 billion.
Reported net income grew 8.9% from the prior-year period to ¥306.0 million, or ¥19.83 per share, from ¥281.0 million, or ¥18.21 per share.
As of Feb. 13, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.68.
