Bricks and mortar: NEB banking unit to close 3 branches in Wisconsin

Mid-Atlantic

Edgewater, N.J.-based Mariner's Bank in May closed its branch at 757-763 Palisade Ave. in Cliffside Park, N.J., according to the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance's depository application activity report.

Philadelphia-based Republic First Bank seeks to open a branch at 199 New Road in Somers Point, N.J., according to the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities' summary of activities.

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency approved Hamburg, N.Y.-based Evans Bank NA's application to open a branch at 438 Main St., Suite 202, in Buffalo, N.Y., according to the regulator's website.

Glen Head, N.Y.-based First National Bank of Long Island secured the OCC's approval to open a branch at 140 E. Main St. in Riverhead, N.Y.

First of Long Island Corp. is the bank's parent company.

Midwest

The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago approved Elkader, Iowa-based Central State Bank's application to open a branch at 805 22nd Ave. in Coralville, Iowa, according to a Federal Reserve release.

The bank is a subsidiary of AJJ Bancorp Inc.

The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City approved Wisner, Neb.-based Citizens State Bank's application to open a mobile branch in connection with its physical branch at 754 Gold Coast Drive in Papillion, Neb.

Metamora State Bank of Ohio applied with the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland for a branch at 501 W. Dussel Drive in Maumee, Ohio.

Boscobel, Wis.-based Community First Bank, a unit of Boscobel Bancorp Inc., is seeking the Chicago Fed's approval for a branch at 325 Lincoln Ave. in Fennimore, Wis.

Saint Joseph, Mich.-based Edgewater Bancorp Inc. plans to open a loan production office in Fremont, Mich.

The office will be in the H & S Plaza facility on W. Main St. and will initially provide commercial and agricultural lending services, according to a press release.

Brazil, Ind.-based Riddell National Bank, a unit of RNB Corp., is seeking the OCC's approval to open a branch at 4210 U.S. Highway 41 S. in Terre Haute, Ind.

Nebraska-based Mutual of Omaha Bank notified the OCC of its plan to close its branch at 1101 N. Carson St. in Carson City, Nev.

The bank is a unit of Omaha Financial Holdings Inc., and Mutual of Omaha Insurance Co. is the bank's ultimate parent.

Minnesota-based First National Bank of Gilbert is seeking the OCC's approval to open a branch at Kensington and Memorial Parkway in Hoyt Lakes, Minn.

Grand Forks, N.D.-based Alerus Financial NA plans to open a branch at 1540 S. Stapley Drive in Mesa, Ariz., according to the OCC's website.

Fond du Lac, Wis.-based National Exchange Bank and Trust plans to close three branches in Wisconsin, according to the OCC's website.

Specifically, the NEB Corp. subsidiary will close its branches at 2412 W. Washington St. in West Bend, at 11 Main St. in Hancock, and at 118 E. Edgewater in Cambria.

Illinois-based First National Bank of Pana secured the OCC's approval to open a branch at 163 N. Water St. in Decatur, Ill.

Northeast

Millbury National Bank of Massachusetts notified the OCC of its plan to close its branch at 43 Main St. in South Grafton, Mass.

Southeast

The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta approved Lawrenceville, Ga.-based Brand Banking Co.'s application to open a branch at 485 Fence Road in Dacula, Ga.

The bank is a subsidiary of Brand Group Holdings Inc.

Batesville, Ark.-based Citizens Bank is seeking the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis' approval to open a branch at 17300 Chenal Parkway, Suite 320, in Little Rock, Ark.

Citizens Bancshares of Batesville Inc. is the bank's parent company.

Pigeon Forge, Tenn.-based SmartBank has opened a loan production office at 525 W. Morris Blvd. in Morristown, Tenn., according to a press release.

SmartFinancial Inc. is the bank's parent company.

Charlottesville, Va.-based Virginia National Bank seeks to open a drive-in facility at 301 E. Water St. in Charlottesville, according to the OCC's website.

Birmingham, Ala.-based National Bank of Commerce in May closed its branch at 2751 Regency Oaks Blvd. in Clearwater, Fla., according to the OCC's website.

Southwest

Bellville, Texas-based Austin County State Bank seeks to open a branch at 325 Meyer St. in Sealy, Texas, according to the Texas Department of Banking's website.

Freer, Texas-based Brush Country Bank, a unit of AOB Ventures Inc., secured the state banking regulator's approval to open a branch at 4900 N. 10th St., Suite G1, in McAllen, Texas.

Mount Pleasant, Texas-based Guaranty Bank & Trust NA secured the OCC's approval to open a branch at 601 W. 5th St. in Austin, Texas.

McAllen, Texas-based Lone Star National Bank opened a branch at 605 S. Alton Blvd. in Mission, Texas, according to the OCC's website.

Bowie, Texas-based Legend Bank NA notified the OCC of its plan to close its branch at 910 W. Business 380 in Decatur, Texas.

West

The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco approved Oakdale, Calif.-based Oak Valley Community Bank's application to open a branch at 455 Capitol Mall in Sacramento, Calif.

The branch, which will be Oak Valley Bancorp's 17th full-service branch, is slated to open in August, according to a press release.

Tucson, Ariz.-based Vantage West CU is set to open an office at 1671 S. Cooper Road in Gilbert, Ariz., by late 2018 or early 2019, according to a press release.
