Power
* Ameren Corp. on June 7 said it named Ward Dickson to its board of directors, effective immediately, increasing the company's board to 13 directors from 12. Dickson will serve on the audit and risk committee and finance committee.
* FortisAlberta Inc. President and CEO Karl Bomhof resigned to pursue other opportunities, effective June 15. David Hutchens, executive vice president of Western utility operations of Fortis Inc., will provide interim leadership until the electricity distribution utility names a successor.
* FirstEnergy Corp. named Mark Mroczynski, formerly executive director of transmission programs, as vice president of construction and design services. Bill Boyd was also named executive director of transmission programs, while Randy Frame was named executive director of the emerging technologies program. Meghan Beringer was named executive director of emerging technologies strategy.
* The Edison Electric Institute appointed Lynn Good as its board chairman, replacing PNM Resources Inc. Chairman, President and CEO Patricia Vincent-Collawn. Good is currently chairman, president and CEO of Duke Energy Corp. Exelon Corp. President and CEO Christopher Crane and Xcel Energy Inc. Chairman, President and CEO Ben Fowke were elected as vice chairmen.
* Mark Fay and Recep Kendircioglu on May 31 resigned from the boards of managers of Cleco Corporate Holdings LLC and Cleco Power LLC. Macquarie Infrastructure Partners Inc. elected Aaron Rubin and Thomas Macfayden as the new members of the boards on both subsidiaries of Cleco Partners LP, effective the same day, while John Hancock Financial Corp. elected Gerald Hanrahan.
* Sunworks Inc. named private investor Joshua Schechter as chairman of its board of directors. Philip Radmilovic was also named to succeed Paul McDonnel as the company's new CFO. McDonnel will remain as treasurer.
* Enphase Energy Inc. appointed Eric Branderiz as vice president and CFO, effective June 4. Branderiz succeeds Bert Garcia, who will support the transition of duties through June 30. Branderiz most recently served as vice president, corporate controller and chief accounting officer at Tesla Inc.
* Jeff Peoples was named senior vice president of employee services and labor relations for Alabama Power Co., effective immediately.
Gas utility/midstream
* Abraxas Petroleum Corp. on June 7 announced that Vice President and CFO Geoffrey King submitted his resignation on June 4 to pursue another opportunity in the financial sector. King will continue to serve as the company's CFO until June 26. Chief Accounting Officer Bill Krog will serve as the principal financial and accounting officer for the interim period.
* Yu Baocai resigned from the board of PetroChina Co. Ltd. following an adjustment of positions. Yu also ceases to be a member of the examination and remuneration committee of the company's board.
* Jiao Fangzheng has resigned as senior vice president at China Petroleum & Chemical Corp., or Sinopec, effective June 7.
* Devon Energy Corp. named John Krenicki Jr. to its board, increasing the size to 10. Krenicki is a senior operating partner at Clayton Dubilier & Rice LLC.
* Michael Collins has been named CEO of Salym Petroleum Development N.V. Salym Petroleum Development is a joint venture between GazpromNeft Finance BV and Shell Salym Development B.V. to engage in oil and gas exploration and production from the Salym group of oilfields in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Russia.
* Northern Oil and Gas Inc. named Roy Easley to the company's board. Easley serves as the senior vice president of exploration and development for CH4 Energy Corp.
* Petroleo Brasileiro SA named Ivan de Souza Monteiro as the company's new CEO. Monteiro is assuming the role from Pedro Parente, who abdicated the position June 1.
* Statoil ASA on June 5 elected Anne Drinkwater and Jonathan Lewis to the company's board.
* Ranger Energy Services, Inc. CFO Robert Shaw Jr. has resigned, effective immediately. Brandon Blossman, the company's current vice president of mergers and acquisitions, will assume the role of CFO.
* Michael Mercer, James Murchison, Colby Dunn, Steven Pully and Patrick Hickey were named as the directors of Harvest Oil & Gas Corp., previously known as EV Energy Partners LP prior to completing Chapter 11 restructuring.
* K. Rick Turner on June 1 resigned from the board of Energy Transfer Equity LP general partner LE GP LLC, effective immediately. Steven Anderson on June 4 was appointed to the board of LE GP. He will serve on Energy Transfer Equity's audit committee and as the chairman of its compensation committee.
* Transocean Ltd. announced June 4 it had appointed Senior Vice President of Operations Keelan Adamson to assume the responsibilities of retiring Executive Vice President, COO and Chief Performance Officer John Stobart.
* Williams Cos. Inc. appointed Nancy Buese as an independent director on its board, effective immediately. Buese is replacing Janice Stoney following her retirement. Buese previously served as the executive vice president and CFO of the midstream energy company MPLX LP and is currently the executive vice president and CFO of the Colorado-based mining company Newmont Mining Corp.
