Chlitina Holding Ltd. said its normalized net income for the first quarter was NT$1.70 per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of NT$1.74 per share.
EPS declined 12.8% year over year from NT$1.95.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$135.4 million, a decrease of 12.8% from NT$155.2 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin dropped to 16.4% from 21.5% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue climbed 14.3% on an annual basis to NT$824.2 million from NT$721.1 million, and total operating expenses grew 27.6% year over year to NT$617.4 million from NT$483.8 million.
Reported net income declined from the prior-year period to NT$175.1 million, or NT$2.20 per share, from NT$183.0 million, or NT$2.30 per share.
As of May 7, US$1 was equivalent to NT$30.79.
