Lee Feed Mill Q2 profit falls YOY

Lee Feed Mill Public Company Ltd said its normalized net income for the second quarter came to 2 satang per share, a decline of 40.6% from 3 satang per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 15.5 million baht, a decline of 40.6% from 26.0 million baht in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin fell to 1.8% from 2.8% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue declined 5.4% year over year to 863.9 million baht from 913.5 million baht, and total operating expenses decreased on an annual basis to 849.5 million baht from 886.6 million baht.

Reported net income fell 35.0% on an annual basis to 25.1 million baht, or 3 satang per share, from 38.6 million baht, or 4 satang per share.

As of Aug. 10, US$1 was equivalent to 35.12 baht.
