Emblem COO to step down

Emblem Corp. said its COO Daniel Saperia will leave the company Nov. 1.

The Toronto-based medical cannabis producer said Saperia will continue to provide support during a transition period until Dec. 31.

In addition, Emblem appointed Wayne Kreppner as president of its medical division to support growth and product innovation. Prior to joining Emblem, Kreppner was president and COO of Concordia International Corp.

Kreppner replaces John Stewart who will oversee the division in an advisory capacity and will remain a board member.
