ABO Wind sells 50-MW wind project in Spain

ABO Wind AG sold the 50-MW Andella wind energy project in the Castilla y León region of Spain to KERENINVESTMENT S.A.U., a Madrid-based sister company of Turkish energy company Kinesis Enerji.

ABO Wind said it will develop the project until it is ready for construction in early 2021. It will also provide financing services to the buyer and take charge in designing the wind park layout, the purchase of turbines and construction supervision.

The facility is expected to go online in 2022.

Kinesis Enerji operates 90 MW of renewable projects in Turkey and is engaged with subsidy-free solar and wind projects under development in Spain and Italy.
