Plumas Bank to buy Carson City, Nev., branch of Mutual of Omaha Bank

Quincy, Calif.-based Plumas Bank, a unit of Plumas Bancorp, entered into a purchase and assumption agreement to acquire the Carson City, Nev., branch of Omaha, Neb.-based Mutual of Omaha Bank.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed in the press release. Plumas Bank will acquire about $50 million in deposits and less than $1 million in loans.

The transaction, which is subject to regulatory approval, is anticipated to close later this year.

As of March 31, Plumas Bank had approximately $736.1 million in assets, while Mutual of Omaha Bank had assets of about $8.20 billion.
