Suomen Hoivatilat Oyj is set to expand its product line by offering movable prefabricated daycare centers for rent to the market.
The centers will be constructed in standardized factory conditions and delivered to the site as ready modules. Their movability will allow tenants to lease the property for shorter duration, said the company, which develops, owns and leases out care premises in Finland.
By 2018-end, Suomen will construct its first prefabricated daycare center that will reside in Raahe, Finland. Touhula Varhaiskasvatus will be the service provider for the 1,000-square-meter facility.
Separately, the company entered into a commercial contract, whereby it will own 65 serviced and assisted living apartments at the Kuopion Portti project in Kuopio, Finland, in the form of a joint-stock property company. The value of the investment is about €10 million.
Lapti Group's Rakennusliike LapTi Oy will build the apartments by January 2020, while Attendo will be the property's service provider on a long-term lease.
