HMS Holdings receives noncompliance notice from Nasdaq

HMS Holdings Corp. has received a notice from the NASDAQ Stock Market that it is not complying with the exchange's listing rule because it did not timely file its first-quarter Form 10-Q.

The company does not expect this notification to have any immediate effect on the continued listing of its common stock on the NASDAQ Global Select Market.

HMS Holdings on May 31 disclosed that it was not able to file its quarterly filing because it must first file its Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended Dec. 31, 2016.
