In Texas, Vista Bancshares completes acquisition of Hamlin Financial

In Texas, Lubbock-based Vista Bancshares Inc., the parent company of Vista Bank, completed its acquisition of Hamlin-based Hamlin Financial Corp. and unit Hamlin National Bank on June 2, the San Antonio Express-News reported on the same day.

According to Hamlin National Bank's website, the bank's customers will still be able to access online banking on its website until June 23, after which the website will automatically redirect to Vista Bank's website.

The deal was announced in January and was approved by the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas on March 31.

As of March 31, total assets of Vista Bank stood at $444.2 million while those of Hamlin National Bank were $88.1 million.
