Amiyaki Tei Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Sept. 30 was ¥76.03 per share, an increase of 8.2% from ¥70.24 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥520.6 million, an increase of 7.5% from ¥484.4 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin dropped to 7.4% from 7.7% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue rose 10.8% on an annual basis to ¥7.00 billion from ¥6.32 billion, and total operating expenses rose 11.4% from the prior-year period to ¥6.19 billion from ¥5.55 billion.
Reported net income rose year over year to ¥499.0 million, or ¥72.87 per share, from ¥479.0 million, or ¥69.46 per share.
As of Nov. 14, US$1 was equivalent to ¥116.46.
