ORIOR H2 profit climbs 20.7% YOY

ORIOR AG said its second-half normalized net income amounted to CHF1.93 per share, an increase of 20.4% from CHF1.61 per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was CHF11.5 million, a gain of 20.7% from CHF9.5 million in the prior-year period.

Total revenue decreased on an annual basis to CHF258.6 million from CHF268.6 million, and total operating expenses declined 4.9% on an annual basis to CHF239.8 million from CHF252.2 million.

Reported net income decreased from the prior-year period to CHF15.2 million, or CHF2.57 per share, from CHF15.9 million, or CHF2.68 per share.

For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled CHF3.30 per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus normalized EPS estimate of CHF4.29.

EPS rose 11.9% from CHF2.95 in the prior year.

Normalized net income was CHF19.6 million, a rise of 12.0% from CHF17.5 million in the prior year.

Full-year total revenue declined on an annual basis to CHF500.1 million from CHF521.6 million, and total operating expenses fell 5.1% year over year to CHF466.3 million from CHF491.2 million.

The company said reported net income decreased on an annual basis to CHF25.6 million, or CHF4.32 per share, in the full year, from CHF26.5 million, or CHF4.48 per share.
