Morgan Stanley named Paul Halpern head of deposits and banking services for the private banking group.

Halpern will lead Morgan Stanley's cash management and deposits strategy and execution. He will also work closely with Paul Vienick, the global financial services firm's head of online/mobile and digital banking, in developing digital banking products and solutions, and will team with Financial Advisors to help them better engage with clients.

Halpern joins Morgan Stanley from Betterment, where he worked as chief marketing officer since 2017.
