Green Cross Health fiscal H1 profit falls YOY

Green Cross Health Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Sept. 30 was 4 New Zealand cents per share, a decrease of 6.7% from 5 cents per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NZ$5.7 million, a decline from NZ$5.9 million in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue rose 6.2% on an annual basis to NZ$134.8 million from NZ$127.0 million, and total operating expenses grew 7.2% year over year to NZ$123.0 million from NZ$114.7 million.

Reported net income fell year over year to NZ$6.9 million, or 5 cents per share, from NZ$7.1 million, or 6 cents per share.
