Hainan Dadonghai Tourism Centre Q3 loss narrows YOY

Hainan Dadonghai Tourism Centre (Holdings) Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the third quarter came to a loss of 1.2 million yuan, compared with a loss of 1.9 million yuan in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

The normalized profit margin rose to negative 33.0% from negative 67.2% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue rose 26.1% on an annual basis to 3.6 million yuan from 2.8 million yuan, and total operating expenses declined 8.2% year over year to 5.5 million yuan from 6.0 million yuan.

Reported net income came to a loss of 1.8 million yuan, or a loss of 1 fen per share, compared to a loss of 3.1 million yuan, or a loss of 1 fen per share, in the year-earlier period.

As of Oct. 21, US$1 was equivalent to 6.77 yuan.
