D.R. Horton Inc. engaged Ernst & Young LLP as its independent registered public accounting firm for the fiscal year ending Sept. 30, 2019, replacing PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
The homebuilder said the decision to replace its accounting firm resulted from a competitive request-for-proposal process undertaken by its board's audit committee.
In June, the company tapped PricewaterhouseCoopers as its accounting firm for the fiscal year ending Sept. 30, after dismissing Ernst & Young.
