ManhattanLife Assurance to acquire workplace voluntary benefits biz from Humana

ManhattanLife Assurance Co. of America has agreed to acquire a workplace voluntary benefits and financial protection plan lines of business from Humana Inc.

The lines of business are primarily held under Humana subsidiary Kanawha Insurance Co.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Humana previously announced that it agreed to sell subsidiary KMG America Corp., including KMG unit Kanawha Insurance Co., to Continental General Insurance Co.
