Apple Inc. will premiere "Carpool Karaoke: The Series" on Apple Music on Aug. 8, the company said May 30.

The new series is based on the popular segment from "The Late Late Show with James Corden" on CBS (US). The show will be available to Apple Music subscribers in more than 100 countries.

"Carpool Karaoke: The Series" is produced for Apple Music by CBS Television Studios and Fulwell 73. Corden and Ben Winston are the creators and executive producers, along with executive producer Eric Pankowski.
