Priceline Group changes name to Booking Holdings

Online travel company Priceline Group Inc. said Feb. 21 that it is changing the company's name to Booking Holdings Inc.

The company will start trading on Nasdaq under the new ticker symbol BKNG on Feb. 27.

Priceline Group CEO Glenn Fogel said the rebranding aligns the company with its largest brand, Booking.com, which averages over 1 million bookings per day and accounts for the group's significant majority of operating profit.
