Dover Motorsports Inc. said its third-quarter normalized net income amounted to a loss of 6 cents per share, compared with a loss of 6 cents per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of $2.3 million, compared with a loss of $2.2 million in the prior-year period.
Total revenue rose year over year to $369,000 from $133,000, and total operating expenses climbed 9.5% year over year to $4.0 million from $3.6 million.
Reported net income came to a loss of $2.2 million, or a loss of 6 cents per share, compared to a loss of $1.4 million, or a loss of 4 cents per share, in the prior-year period.
