Hana Financial invests 700B won in Hana Financial Investment unit

Hana Financial Group Inc. is investing 700.00 billion South Korean won in wholly owned unit Hana Financial Investment Co. Ltd. by acquiring 13,461,539 new common shares at 52,000 won per share to boost the investment bank unit's capital.

The share acquisition will take place March 26, according to a March 23 regulatory filing.

The move will raise Hana Financial Investment's equity capital by 700.00 billion won from 1.929 trillion won as of end-2016.

As of March 23, US$1 was equivalent to 1,080.71 South Korean won.
