Artemis Resources Ltd. said June 7 that it trucked its first shipment of ore from the Whundo mine in Western Australia as part of a supply deal with Blackrock Metals Pty. Ltd.
The first load of copper oxide ore was trucked to the Whim Creek copper solvent extraction and electrowinning plant. The mine is now expected to generate about A$100,000 per month in net revenue from the sales.
The next oxide stockpile for potential sale will consist of 30,000 tonnes grading 3.9% copper, and Artemis expects it to net more than A$6 per tonne.
