Enterex International Ltd. said its second-quarter normalized net income amounted to 32 Taiwan cents per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of 48 cents per share.
EPS fell 39.6% year over year from 54 cents.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$32.5 million, a decrease of 32.0% from NT$47.9 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin fell to 2.6% from 3.6% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue decreased 5.8% on an annual basis to NT$1.27 billion from NT$1.35 billion, and total operating expenses declined year over year to NT$1.20 billion from NT$1.25 billion.
Reported net income declined 31.1% from the prior-year period to NT$41.2 million, or 41 cents per share, from NT$59.8 million, or 67 cents per share.
As of Aug. 11, US$1 was equivalent to NT$32.22.
