* The Swiss Competition Commission approved Sunrise Communications Group AG's proposed CHF 6.3 billion acquisition of Liberty Global PLC unit UPC Schweiz, following an in-depth probe. Sunrise CEO Olaf Swantee welcomed the regulator's decision. The telco will now have to secure shareholder approval in an Oct. 23 special meeting regarding its planned capital increase to fund the acquisition. Sunrise intends to reduce the said capital increase, valued at CHF 4.1 billion, Reuters reported Sept. 27.
* Swiss electronics company Logitech International SA agreed to acquire Streamlabs Inc., a provider of livestreaming software and tools, in a cash-and-stock transaction. Logitech will purchase San Francisco-based Streamlabs for about $89 million in cash, plus an additional $29 million of Logitech shares subject to Streamlabs achieving specific revenue growth targets. The transaction's completion is expected in the coming weeks, subject to customary closing conditions.

* Axel Springer SE unit AVIV closed the acquisition of MeilleursAgents, a provider of online real estate advertisements in France. The acquisition will bolster Springer's portfolio of French real estate portals, which includes SeLoger and Logic-Immo, according to a Sept. 27 statement.
* French content distribution company Alchimie SAS acquired U.K.-based over-the-top service provider TVPlayer Ltd., in a move to penetrate the British market, TVB Europe reported. The transaction will accelerate Alchimie's plan to launch Alchimie U.K., according to the report, quoting company CEO Nicolas d'Hueppe.

* European private equity firm Castik Capital acquired a majority stake in AddSecure, a provider of premium solutions for secure data and critical communications. The acquisition is expected to support AddSecure's efforts to grow its business, while also investing in product innovation and profitability. Following the deal, AddSecure's previous owner ABRY Partners LLC will retain minority ownership, with the former's management also investing in the company.
* The European Commission approved BC Partners and Vista Equity Partners LLC's proposed joint-control acquisition of U.K.-based Advanced Computer Software Group Ltd., a provider of software, cloud and managed IT services, according to a Sept. 27 news release.
* Telenor ASA said Sept. 27 that it extended its mandatory tender offer until Oct. 10 for shares in DNA Oyj, after already securing 94.36% of the shares in the Finnish telecom company. Telenor will make a redemption claim to any remaining minority shareholders after the offer extension has ended.
* Serbia's Commission for Protection of Competition approved Telekom Srbija ad's proposed takeover of Novi Pazar-based operator Vizija Holding kdd, Telecompaper reported Sept. 27.
* Sinch AB said Sept. 26 that it agreed to acquire French cloud solutions company myelefant SAS in a cash deal worth about €18.5 million. The deal value will carry additional cash earnings of up to €3 million by 2021 if myelefant meets certain gross profit targets.
* Mobile operator Bite Latvia will acquire a stake in Latvian cable operator Baltcom, Telecompaper reported Sept. 25, citing Db.lv. The deal is subject to approval by the Latvian antitrust regulator.
* Atea ASA struck a deal to acquire DatabaseForum AS, a Stavanger, Norway-based data analytics and business intelligence firm. The acquisition is expected to strengthen Atea's growing data analytics solutions business.
* Xenon Partners acquired Metricfire, a Dublin, Ireland-based provider of open-source cloud data monitoring software for developers and IT administrators. The private equity firm will add Metricfire to its current portfolio of software-focused technology companies, including recently acquired Scout APM.
