Missouri-based packaged goods company Post Holdings Inc. said May 17 that one of its subsidiaries filed an amended draft registration statement with the SEC in connection to its proposed initial public offering for its private brands business.
The company on Jan. 11 announced its plan to combine its private brands business as part of its strategic plans for the division. The plan included a placement of private equity, a sale of the businesses or a strategic combination.
Post Holdings previously said its combined private brands division will be led by James Dwyer, president and CEO of its subsidiary Michael Foods Group Inc.
The combined unit would include its Golden Boy, Dakota Growers and Attune Foods brands.
Most recently, Post Holdings said it had not yet determined the number of shares of stock and the price range for the proposed offering, which is still subject to completion of the SEC review process and to market conditions.
