Kitov Pharma Ltd. said it appointed Gil Efron as the company's deputy CEO and CFO.

Efron would replace Simcha Rock, who would step down as the company's CFO and continue to serve on the board.

Most recently, Efron served as deputy CEO and CFO of Kamada Ltd., a plasma-derived protein therapeutics company. He was also the CFO of RRsat Global Communications Ltd.

Israel-based Kitov Pharma develops treatments for pain caused by osteoarthritis and hypertension.
