Svenska Handelsbanken issues $2.5B of bonds

Svenska Handelsbanken AB (publ) issued $2.5 billion of international bonds in a two-tranche offering, Cbonds reported.

One of the tranches, worth $1.25 billion, matures May 24, 2021. The bonds, which carry a coupon of 3.35%, were sold at a price of 99.887% with an initial yield of 3.39%.

The other tranche, also worth $1.25 billion and maturing May 24, 2021, was sold at a price of 100%.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan and Morgan Stanley served as book runners on the transactions.
