Galena Mining Ltd. on March 14 announced updated lead-silver resources for its Abra property in Western Australia.
The update incorporates new data from 8,024 meters of drilling completed from September 2017 to December 2017.
Abra hosts high-grade indicated and inferred resources totaling 11.2 million tonnes grading 10.1% lead and 28 g/t of silver using a cutoff of 7.5% lead.
The company noted that, using a lower cutoff of 5% lead, indicated and inferred resources are estimated at 36.6 million tonnes grading 7.3% lead and 18 g/t of silver.
The high-grade estimate is being integrated into a pre-feasibility study, which is expected to be completed in the second half of 2018.
