Oneok closes $2B offering of senior notes

Oneok Inc. on Aug. 15 closed its $2.0 billion offering of senior notes, raising approximately $1.97 billion of net proceeds.

The company would use the proceeds to fully redeem Oneok Partners LP's $300 million of 3.80% senior notes due 2020 and for general corporate purposes, including the repayment of outstanding debts and funding of capital expenditures, according to an Aug. 15 SEC filing.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, BofA Securities Inc., Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC acted as the underwriters' representatives on the sale, which comprises $500 million of 2.75% notes due 2024, $750 million of 3.40% notes due 2029 and $750 million of 4.45% notes due 2049.
