A.M. Best has assigned a Financial Strength Rating (FSR) ofB+ (Good) and a Long-Term Issuer Credit Rating (Long-Term ICR) of"bbb-" to MemorialHermann Health Plan Inc., a subsidiary of (Memorial Hermann). The outlook assigned to these Credit Ratings (ratings) isstable.

Additionally, A.M. Best has affirmed the FSR of B+ (Good)and the Long-Term ICR of "bbb-" of Memorial Hermann Health Insurance Co. The outlook ofthese ratings is stable. Collectively, the group is herein referred to asMemorial Hermann Insurance Operations. All companies are domiciled in Houston,Texas.

The rating assignments and affirmations reflect MemorialHermann Insurance Operations' strategic role as the managed care subsidiary ofMemorial Hermann, a fully integrated health care delivery system. The ratingsalso consider Memorial Hermann's established network and overallcreditworthiness, which enhances each entity's assessment.
