The New York State Department of Financial Services authorized Garden City Park, N.Y.-based Hanover Community Bank to open a branch at 138-35 39th Ave. in Flushing, Queens borough, New York City, according to the state banking regulator's weekly banking bulletin.
The bank is a unit of Hanover Bancorp Inc.

Brooklyn, N.Y.-based Dime Community Bank, a unit of Dime Community Bancshares Inc., opened a branch at 1 Huntington Quadrangle in Melville, N.Y.
The bank is also set to open an office in midtown Manhattan soon, according to a press release.
Midwest
Bank of Oakfield in Wisconsin, a unit of Oakfield Bancorp Inc., secured the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago's approval to open a branch at 171 S. Pioneer Road in Fond du Lac, Wis., according to a Federal Reserve release.

The Ohio Department of Commerce Division of Financial Institutions approved Archbold, Ohio-based Farmers & Merchants State Bank's application to open a banking office at 1660 Tiffin Ave. in Findlay, Ohio, according to the state regulator's October report.
Farmers & Merchants Bancorp Inc. is the bank's parent company.

The Ohio banking regulator approved Youngstown, Ohio-based Home Savings Bank's application to open a banking office at 4137 Boardman-Canfield Road, Suite 101 in Canfield, Ohio, according to the regulator's August report.
United Community Financial Corp. is the bank's parent company.

Bainbridge, Ohio-based Rockhold Bank in August obtained the Ohio banking regulator's approval to open a banking office at the corner of U.S. Route 23 and Delano Road in Chillicothe, Ohio.

The Federal Bank of St. Louis approved Springfield, Mo.-based Old Missouri Bank's application to open a branch at 318 W. Mt. Vernon Blvd. in Mt. Vernon, Mo.
The bank is a subsidiary of JamesMark Bancshares Inc.

City National Bank and Trust Co. of Lawton Oklahoma, a unit of JRMB II Inc., obtained the OCC's approval to open four branches in Oklahoma — at 13801 N. May Ave. in Oklahoma City; at 2301 W. Kenosha St. in Broken Arrow; at 207 S. Memorial Drive in Tulsa; and at 333 N. Interstate Drive in Norman.
The bank also seeks to close its branch at 3900 Hillside Drive in Broken Arrow, Okla.
