Guanghe Landscape Culture Communication Q2 loss narrows YOY

Guanghe Landscape Culture Communication Co. Ltd. said its second-quarter normalized net income came to a loss of 1 fen per share, compared with a loss of 3 fen per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of 3.3 million yuan, compared with a loss of 5.8 million yuan in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin climbed to negative 12.9% from negative 210.8% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue climbed 54.7% on an annual basis to 4.2 million yuan from 2.7 million yuan, and total operating expenses decreased 9.6% from the prior-year period to 8.6 million yuan from 9.5 million yuan.

Reported net income came to 3.9 million yuan, or 1 fen per share, compared to a loss of 7.1 million yuan, or a loss of 4 fen per share, in the prior-year period.

As of Aug. 24, US$1 was equivalent to 6.66 yuan.
