Metanor found not guilty in criminal proceedings over fatal 2009 mine accident

Metanor Resources Inc. has been found not guilty on charges of criminal negligence in relation to an accident which occurred in October 2009 at the Bachelor gold mine in Quebec that resulted in three fatalities.

The company noted in a Dec. 8 release that the civil claims brought by the families of the workers in relation to the accident were settled in 2013.
