Report: Blackstone, Toshiba, Siemens Gamesa among potential buyers of Senvion

Buyout firms including Blackstone Group LP are among the parties interested in acquiring German wind turbine manufacturer Senvion SA, Reuters reported, citing German Manager Magazine.

Sources close to the talks told the German-language business magazine that Toshiba Corp. and Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SA are also eyeing the insolvent company.

One person said the potential buyers are seeking a deal to own Senvion's assets rather than take over the holding company.

Senvion was not immediately available for comment, according to the report.
