CyrusOne breaks ground on 1st Dublin data center campus

CyrusOne Inc. started the construction of its first data center campus in Dublin.

Upon completion, the Dublin I campus in Grange Castle Business Park South will consist of three separate two-story buildings with 360,000 square feet of data center space. It will have an aggregate 74 MW of power capacity.

The U.S. data center real estate investment trust said the first phase of the facility will be open for occupation in the fourth quarter of 2020.

The campus will have closed-loop chilled-water cooling, as well as roof-mounted solar panels to back the main power supply and a "green wall" that will make the buildings more energy-efficient.
